About Us
Welcome to Lakes Region Outward Hound, where we are dedicated to helping your dog live his or her best life!
We all know that dogs crave companionship, exercise, leadership, and love, but it can be hard to provide all those things while working a typical 9 to 5.
What We Do
Hike in the Woods
Dogs are picked up at their homes and transported alongside their furry friends to off-leash-friendly trails (typically privately owned land) where they can hike, swim, run, play, and learn.
Learn Trail Etiquette
We practice basic commands such as recall, sit-stays, and down-stays, and pack walking. These skills translate to more impulse control and better trail etiquette for your dog.
Practice Commands
We practice relaxation training techniques to help dogs learn to stay calm around distractions.
Happy Trails
Dog camp is a half-day program, running roughly four hours, and is offered Monday through Friday.
